Legal Assistant - Riyadh

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join the Riyadh office of a renowned international law firm. This award-winning firm is looking for a dynamic and organised individual to support a team of 10, including the Office Managing Partner. This role offers a variety of tasks across multiple practice areas such as Banking, Corporate, and Dispute Resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Calendar Management: Efficiently manage calendars and schedule appointments for Partners and Associates.
2. Document Preparation: Assist in preparing legal documents including briefs, agreements, and contracts.
3. Meeting Coordination: Organise meetings and conferences, both internally and with clients.
4. Legal Processing: Prepare and process legal forms and documents, ensuring timely filing with courts and government agencies.
5. Client Interaction: Handle client inquiries and communications, providing exceptional service in person, by phone, or via email.
6. Case Management: Maintain accurate records and manage case files with precision.
7. Legal Research: Conduct necessary legal research to support the team.
8. Additional Duties: Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a law firm setting.
2. Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic is desirable, but not essential.
3. Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time management skills.
4. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
5. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
6. Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
7. Legal Knowledge: Understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
