Legal Associate Advisor

General Summary

Providing legal advisory and administrative support on a broad range of legal, regulatory, governance, and corporate matters. Supporting the organization in complying with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and governance frameworks while minimizing legal risks and protecting the organization’s interests.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, amend, and negotiate contracts, agreements, memorandums, policies, and other legal documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to laws, regulations, and industry practices to support decision-making.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
  • Identify potential legal risks and recommend practical mitigation measures to protect the organization’s interests.
  • Support the preparation and review of legal correspondence, notices, resolutions, and official legal submissions.
  • Assist in the development, enhancement, and implementation of legal policies, procedures, and governance practices.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive legal and organizational information.

Key Accountabilities

  • Carry out daily operations assigned to the department in compliance with the company’s standards.
  • Prepare timely and accurate department reports to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards of the company and the department.
  • Ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers by addressing their needs in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of processes, practices, work processes, cost effectiveness, and productivity enhancement.
  • Promote the implementation of and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions among employees within the organization.
  • Maintain a good and respectful relationship with colleagues and represent the company in a positive image.


Job Requirements

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in Law is required


Experience:

3+ years of experience in legal advisory, corporate law, commercial contracts, or regulatory compliance.
