Your new role
In this role, you will serve as Legal Counsel, providing strategic legal advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, drafting and negotiating contracts, and supporting various business functions in managing legal risk.
Your Duties

Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, client engagements, and strategic partnerships.

Provide legal and regulatory advice relevant to fintech and financial services operations.

Conduct legal research into regulatory changes, industry best practices, and compliance requirements.

Manage and maintain internal legal resources, including contract databases, registers, and governance documentation.

Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies on legal matters.

Support licensing processes and ensure ongoing compliance with financial regulatory obligations.

Offer legal guidance on corporate structuring, governance frameworks, and business expansion plans.

Oversee the full contract lifecycle and ensure adherence to contractual commitments.

Advise on data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, UAE PDPL) and privacy compliance.

Assist in managing intellectual property matters, including trademark filings and IP licensing.

Provide legal input on new product development, business models, and strategic initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed

Qualified in a common law jurisdiction (UK, US, Ireland, Australia, NZ, South Africa).

3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a financial services firm.

Understanding of financial regulations and compliance frameworks is desirable

Fluency in English is essential; Turkish or other additional languages are a plus.
