We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in contract drafting, contract negotiation, and contract management , ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation for the company. The role requires a proactive legal professional with excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skill.


Key Responsibilities:


1- Effectively deal with legal and commercial aspects of various businesses of the Group.

2- Providing legal advice on various legal issues including commercial contracts, dispute resolution, litigation, banking facilities agreements, regulatory matters, arbitration, labor law and governance matters.

3- Drafting, vetting, negotiating and finalizing various documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Land Lease Agreements, Facility Agreements, Procurement Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Agency Agreements, MOUs, POAs, Minutes of Meetings, Articles of Association, Head of Terms, Retail Lease, Sale/Acquisition of business, Engineering and Construction Agreements for buildings and facilities, Supplier Agreements etc.

4- Advising on how to ensure minimal liability and legal exposure for the business of the Group.

5- Taking decisive actions on various legal matters and advising management on such issues.

6- Assessing and advising effectively to minimize and control risks and compliance issues as

applicable to the legal function relating to the Group and ensuring that the system, controls

and processes are appropriate and relevant.

7- Advising and ensuring that the relevant businesses are carried out in compliance with the

necessities of legislation involving data protection, intellectual property matters etc.

8- Supervising, researching, and analyzing implication of case law, legislation, and regulatory

matters that affect the company or the Group and reporting them back to the CLO.

9- Communicate, brief and coordinate with external law firms and consultants in matters related to

the Group’s litigation and activities and put forth strongly our view points/perspective, so that they are

adequately reflected in the replies/ statements/ submissions/documents, etc.

10- Coordinate with various Governmental departments and authorities both locally and in various

countries of operations.

11- Coordinate and research commercial solutions with regard to legal structures for new

companies/ businesses initiated in different jurisdictions keeping in view the tax

implications for the same and in that connection incorporate limited liability companies/ special

purpose vehicles etc.

12- Comply with statutory requirements of company registrations, joint ventures, renewals, changes

to Memorandum and Articles of Association in Qatar and different countries;

13- Advise the Management and Senior executives, departments/ units generally about the laws

relating to the business.

14- Perform any other duties as requested by the CLO.


Key Requirements:


Education & Experience:

  • LLB (Bachelor of Laws) / LLM (Master of Laws) from a recognized institution.
  • 5-8 years of experience in corporate law, contract drafting, and contract management.
  • Experience working in a corporate legal department or a law firm specializing in commercial contracts.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial transactions, and risk assessment .
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills : Arabic & English
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
