Position Overview
Legal Counsel is expected to deliver high-quality, business-oriented legal support across the organization’s operations. The role combines core legal counsel functions with cross-disciplinary involvement in risk management, corporate strategy, and insurance, offering a dynamic environment for a commercially minded legal professional.
Core Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and monitor legislative developments across the MEA region.
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts, including supply, sales, service, licensing, distribution, and consultancy agreements.
Provide business oriented legal advice that supports commercial decision-making while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Review, draft, and update key corporate documents, including policies and procedures.
Conduct legal due diligence processes.
Manage claims and disputes from initial assessment to resolution, including drafting legal correspondence, negotiating settlements, leading amicable discussions, and supervising external counsel when litigation arises.
Develop, design, and deliver legal awareness and training programs for non-legal teams.

Support legal strategic initiatives including M&A.
Manage corporate insurance matters and advise internal stakeholders on them.
Profile And Skills Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law.
Bar membership or certification.
3–5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate field, ideally within an international organization. Experience in risk management, insurance, or M&A is a plus.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business solutions.
Proficiency in Arabic, English, and French.
Strategic thinker with collaborative mindset and an appetite for learning new business domains.
Comfortable operating in an agile, matrixed, and evolving environment requiring cross-functional collaboration.
Comfortable in working with a diverse and multicultural team.
