Main Objectives
To oversee and strengthen the Company’s legal and corporate governance functions by managing the Legal Department’s operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and internal policies, and providing expert legal counsel to management. The role safeguards the Company’s rights and interests through sound legal guidance, effective supervision of the legal team, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders while supporting the General Counsel in maintaining high standards of governance, transparency, and compliance across all business activities.
Main Duties

Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to management and departments on matters impacting the Company’s operations and interests, ensuring all activities, contracts, and decisions comply with applicable laws, internal policies, and the Articles of Association. This is essential to ensure that all Company operations are conducted within the legal framework and corporate objectives, thereby minimizing exposure to legal and reputational risks.

Oversee and manage the Legal Department’s operations, including the allocation, coordination, and monitoring of tasks, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of legal services and adherence to Company policies and standards. This responsibility ensures consistent legal oversight, operational efficiency, and effective alignment between the Legal function and the Company’s overall objectives.

Supervise the review and approval of high-value or complex contracts and agreements, ensuring that all commitments adequately protect the Company’s commercial and legal interests while complying with governance and procedural requirements. This function safeguards the Company’s rights and financial standing by ensuring that all agreements are legally sound and free of potential liabilities.

Coordinate the management of legal disputes and engagement with external counsel, overseeing documentation, correspondence, and case progress under the direction of the General Counsel to achieve timely and favorable resolutions. This ensures that external legal processes are efficiently managed, cost-effective, and consistently protect the Company’s best interests.

Support and monitor the Company’s corporate governance framework by ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations, assisting in the validation of governance reports, and liaising with relevant authorities to uphold internal control and ethical practices. This role reinforces transparency, accountability, and adherence to corporate governance standards that safeguard the Company’s integrity.

Assist in company secretarial functions as delegated by the General Counsel, including reviewing agendas, minutes, and Board resolutions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance. This responsibility ensures that the Board’s decisions are properly documented, procedurally sound, and compliant with all applicable laws and governance requirements.

Oversee and maintain the Legal Department’s documentation systems and databases to ensure proper recordkeeping, confidentiality, and accessibility of contracts, legal opinions, and case files. This supports informed decision-making and compliance with data retention, audit, and regulatory requirements while promoting operational efficiency within the department.

Develop and mentor Legal Department personnel by identifying training needs, monitoring performance, and fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. This strengthens the Department’s overall capability, enhances productivity, and ensures the readiness of successors to sustain the Company’s legal and governance standards.

Comply with the Company's and airport authorities’ health, safety & security requirements.

Carries out other similar or related duties as directed by the management.
Minimum Requirements
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in law.
Experience:
-
10 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Other Essential Requirements:

Strong knowledge of written and spoken Arabic & English.
