Legal Counsel – Projects

We are looking for a “Legal Counsel - Projects ” to be assigned to our ''Legal'' department located in İstanbul HQ and to play a key role in global projects and provide legal support across our international operations.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• Academic & Professional
• LL.M. degree from a leading law school with bar admission,
• 4+ years’ experience in an international law firm or in-house role (energy sector experience strongly preferred)
• Expertise
• Background in Enery Law, Corporate Law, Project Development and International Transactions
• Demonstrated experience drafting, negotiating and closing cross-border contracts
• Skills
• Fluent English (spoken & written)
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Self-motivated team player with persuasiveness and resilience
• Flexibility
• No restriction for travelling inside and outside of Turkey as projects require

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

• Prepare, review and execute contracts (including but not limited to energy sales contracts, purchase contracts, partnership agreements, and tender documents of projects)
• Partner with Business Development, Project and Operations teams to secure commercially sound outcomes.
• Provide legal support on corporate matters and project development corporate matters, project development, finance and operations,
• Conduct risk assessment for ongoing and potential projects; advise management with solution-oriented recommendations.
• Stay ahead of regulatory and legislative changes, especially those affecting the energy sector
