Legal Executive

A Legal Executive in Real Estate oversees the legal aspects of property transactions, handling contract drafting and review, conducting legal due diligence, ensuring regulatory compliance with laws like RERA, and managing legal risks and disputes. Key responsibilities include advising internal teams and clients, staying updated on real estate law, and potentially managing litigation, all while maintaining accurate legal records and fostering relationships with authorities and stakeholders. Core Responsibilities

• Contract Management:Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various real estate contracts, such as sale agreements, leases, and joint venture documents.
• Due Diligence:Conducting thorough legal reviews of properties to identify potential risks, verify titles, and ensure compliance with regulations before transactions occur.
• Legal Advisory:Providing legal counsel and support to management, the finance team, and other departments on all real estate-related legal matters.
• Compliance:Ensuring adherence to all applicable real estate laws, including property regulations, zoning laws, and other statutory requirements, such as the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA).
• Dispute Resolution:Managing and resolving real estate disputes, which may involve litigation, arbitration, or settlement negotiations.
• Stakeholder Coordination:Collaborating with external parties, such as clients, developers, government authorities, and external legal counsel, to facilitate transactions and resolve legal issues.
• Documentation & Record Keeping:Overseeing the maintenance of accurate legal records, project documentation, and comprehensive legal information management systems (MIS).
• Regulatory Liaison:Liaising with government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth registration processes and compliance.
