ARC is hiring a Legal Intern for summer 2026! In this role, you will gain exposure and a deep understanding of ARC’s business. You'll gain experience working on projects such as legal research and analysis, contract review, policy development, and corporate governance support. The Legal Intern will support ARC’s legal team on a variety of tasks with a focus on deploying artificial intelligence technologies to support contract lifecycle management. If successful, this intern may be retained in a part time capacity after completion of the internship for deployment of solutions.

This internship follows a hybrid work model and is based in Arlington, VA. Applicants should be located within commuting distance of the office.
What You'll Get to Do::
  • Assist with identification and implementation of artificial intelligence tools for legal matters and contract lifecycle management.
  • Assist with review of key commercial agreements and revise/edit standard contractual terms for internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct legal research on a wide range of topics including commercial law, privacy, regulatory matters, contracting, and data matters.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing contracts, memoranda, policies, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
  • Support matter management and compliance initiatives, including updating templates and maintaining documentation.
  • Analyze and summarize legal or regulatory developments affecting ARC’s operations.
You'll Bring These Qualifications::
  • Must be a current, full-time student in good standing pursuing a Juris Doctor degree from a respected law school or a recent graduate.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities to provide fresh ideas on legacy processes.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written and ability to convey complex ideas to high level management.
  • Self-starter who shows initiative but does not hesitate to ask for direction or guidance when needed
  • Excellent people skills to work across the organization with different personnel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated interest in business law through either participation in a business law program or completion of related business law coursework with strong academic credentials.
