RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading and providing strategic, hands-on advice on internal investigations and government investigations.
Managing external counsel and coordinating with internal teams.
Advising business and control groups within the firm on regulatory, commercial issues and reputational risk.

QUALIFICATIONS

Lawyer with 6+ yearsâ€™ experience at a leading law firm, financial services in-house position, or a relevant government/regulatory agency enforcement position.
Significant experience in the financial services industry.
Excellent interpersonal and client skills; ability to build and maintain strong relationship with relevant business and control groups within the firm; ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply, and to present clear choices.
Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced high-pressure environment, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Excellent judgment and ability to assess risks.
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several simultaneous matters under deadlines.
Strong work ethic and personal accountability.
Experience handling government investigations and internal investigations at financial institutions preferred.

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $170000-$270000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
