As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Manager to strengthen our legal function and support our international operations.
Role Overview:
The Legal Manager – Commercial & International Contracts will be responsible for managing and supporting all contractual, regulatory, and compliance matters related to the company’s business operations. This role requires a proactive legal professional who can balance business objectives with legal risk management, and who demonstrates sound judgment, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of international data protection frameworks such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Drafting, Review, and Negotiation:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, subscription and licensing agreements, reseller and partner contracts, master service agreements, statements of work, NDAs, vendor contracts, and data processing agreements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and Product to provide timely and effective legal support aligned with business goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized university; LL.M. or equivalent international legal qualification will be an added advantage.
Sound commercial judgment and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
Preferred Attributes:
Exposure to compliance, intellectual property, and regulatory matters in cross-border contexts.
Experience working with contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., SpotDraft, DocuSign CLM).
