LEGAL MEDICAL BILLER

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Biller to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the medical bills and records ordering process, ensuring accurate bills and records pertinent to the claimed injury are added, and facilitating timely medical records ordering . This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, ,and ability to read the bill and records. The Medical Biller will work closely with healthcare providers, insurance companies, attorney, and opposing counsels, and clients to resolve billing inquiries and maintain accurate medical records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit bills and records to insurance companies and opposing counsels for reimbursement.
• Review client records for completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify any issues related to billing or coding.
• Ensure confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience in medical billing or coding is preferred
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills is necessary to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
