Job Title : Legal Officer


Employment Type : One Year Extendable


Level: Graduate / Entry Level


Job Purpose


To provide administrative and legal support to the Legal and Governance Department by assisting in legal documentation, regulatory compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, while gaining practical experience in public-sector legal work.


Key Responsibilities


Assist in preparing and reviewing routine legal documents, memos, and official correspondence.


Support compliance with government laws, regulations, policies, and internal procedures.


Conduct legal and regulatory research related to public administration and governance.


Assist in monitoring compliance deadlines and regulatory requirements.


Support the legal team in handling internal investigations, complaints, and legal inquiries.


Coordinate with government authorities and internal departments on legal matters.


Maintain legal databases, records, and filing systems.


Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and case summaries.


Qualifications


Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB).


Academic exposure to administrative law, public law, or constitutional law is an advantage.


Skills & Competencies


Basic legal drafting and documentation skills.


Strong research and report-writing abilities.


Good organizational and time-management skills.


Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.


Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Proficiency in MS Office applications.


Language Requirements


Good command of Arabic; working knowledge of English is preferred.
