Position Summary:
The Company Advocate will be responsible for handling all legal matters of the organization, ensuring legal compliance, drafting and vetting agreements, representing the company before courts and authorities, and safeguarding the company’s legal interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Advisory
- Provide legal advice to management on various corporate, commercial, labor, and contractual matters.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations applicable to the company.
- Drafting & Documentation
- Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, vendor agreements, employment contracts, and other legal documents.
- Ensure all documents comply with applicable laws.
- Litigation Management
- Represent the company before courts, tribunals, quasi-judicial authorities, and government departments.
- Handle civil, criminal, labor, arbitration, and corporate litigation matters.
- Coordinate with external advocates when required.
- Compliance & Regulatory Matters
- Ensure compliance with corporate laws, labor laws, taxation laws, and other applicable regulations.
- Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and legal consultants.
- Dispute Resolution
- Manage legal notices, replies, and dispute settlements.
- Handle arbitration and mediation proceedings.
- Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain proper legal records, case files, and documentation.
- Track ongoing cases and update management regularly.
Qualifications & Skills:
- LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
- Valid Bar Council enrollment.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate/legal practice (experience may vary as per requirement).
- Strong knowledge of corporate, labor, and contract laws.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
