The Legal Printing Specialist is a customer-facing, highly detail-oriented role that bridges administrative support and printing operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to deliver accurate work under deadline pressure. This role will learn and implement aspects of filing with the US Supreme Court and Federal Appellate Courts.

For over 80 years, Wilson-Epes has been a fixture of the highly specialized U.S. Supreme Court and Federal Appellate Court legal community. This company has been an integral part of the nation’s legal history, printing briefs for many landmark cases. Since 2005, we have been located on H ST NE serving local residents, businesses and organizations with all of their printing needs from the quick print of a return label to presentations, business cards and signs and banners.

Description

Customer Service & Administration
  • Read & respond to emails to confirm receipt and provide information on services with professionalism and accuracy
  • Educate customers about printing options and guide them through the scheduling process
  • Communicate timelines, job statuses, and scheduling updates to external and internal customers

Production Support
  • Update production calendar to include scheduling jobs and updating statuses
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient printing, binding, and delivery processes
  • Learn and execute print set up for legal briefs

Qualifications
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities required
  • Initiative and ability to follow instructions to work with minimal oversight once trained
  • Desire for continuous learning
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Suite a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain relationships

Quality & Workflow
  • Monitor and comply with company quality control standards
  • Support continuous improvement by helping update and refine company procedures

Compensation - this is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime. We offer generous benefits to include 7 holiday and 2 floating holidays, paid sick time ,paid vacation time, employee medical, dental and vision insurance with premiums paid 100% by the company and a generous retirement plan!

Salary

$20 - $24 per hour
