The Role
MENA Recruit is working with a leading international law firm to source a bright and motivated Legal Secretary for its Finance & Corporate team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is young, dynamic, and flexible, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service. The role not only provides exposure to high-profile international work, but also offers a clear path for career progression, with the potential to step up to Executive Assistant level after a year of strong performance. Key Responsibilities 1. Provide full secretarial support to senior lawyers, including preparation of legal documentation (company formations, resolutions, powers of attorney, corporate filings, legal opinions, etc.). 2. Manage filings with internal and external authorities; liaise with the Registered Office for entity filings. 3. Handle apostilling and legalisation processes with government bodies. 4. Billing support, including drafting narratives, liaising with clients, and Accounts. 5. Diary management, meeting coordination, and travel logistics. 6. Maintain accurate client records, correspondence, and archiving. 7. Provide cover and support across the secretarial team when needed.
Requirements
1. Recognized legal secretarial qualification. 2. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a law firm or professional services environment. 3. Strong grasp of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation. 4. Advanced Microsoft Office and document management system skills. 5. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities. 6. Professional, proactive, and client-service focused. 7. Flexible and calm under pressure, with willingness to work overtime.
