The Justice and Public Safety Cabinet is seeking a qualified Legal Secretary to provide essential support to the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council. This position is under the Office of the Secretary and will be physically located at the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet, Office of Legal Services (OLS) and will primarily support the attorneys and staff for KLEC.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and prepare basic legal documents for attorney review and approval.
- Assist OLS staff with document management, including document collection, identification, storage, and review.
- Assist with communication between OLS staff and cabinet agencies and employees to facilitate services.
- Review and transcribe depositions and other legal material.

- Experience with administrative law process.
Some travel is required.
