Lemon Law Attorney (Remote, 1099)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Lemon Law Attorney to join our fully remote, nationwide consumer protection team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling Lemon Law and vehicle warranty claims from intake through arbitration and settlement, with the ability to work independently and manage a substantial caseload efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of Lemon Law and breach of warranty cases nationwide.
• Manage all aspects of pre-litigation and arbitration, including demand preparation, arbitration filings, discovery, negotiations, and settlements.
• Conduct arbitrations through BBB, NCDS, or manufacturer-specific programs.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, manufacturers, and opposing counsel.
• Ensure all case documentation, repair records, and communications are accurately maintained in Filevine.
• Provide legal guidance to support staff and ensure compliance with firm procedures and deadlines.
• Negotiate settlements and complete all closing documentation.

Requirements:

• Licensed attorney in at least one U.S. state (multiple state licenses preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience handling Lemon Law or consumer protection cases.
• Must have hands-on arbitration experience with manufacturer programs (BBB, NCDS, CAP-Motors, etc.).
• Proficiency in Filevine required (no exceptions).
• Excellent negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage cases independently in a remote environment.

Compensation:

• 1099 contractor position.
• Compensation based on performance — typically percentage of attorney fees per case settled or arbitrated, commensurate with experience and state bar coverage.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $5,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
