Position Overview

As a Lending Risk Control Lead/ Expert , you will be responsible for building and managing the full lifecycle risk of our lending business, safeguarding the assets of both the platform and its users. You will design and implement credit assessment models, monitor collateral risks, optimize fund pricing, and manage liquidity risks during extreme market conditions, ensuring the secure and steady growth of our lending operations.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Strategy and Modeling:

1. Conduct credit risk assessments for borrowers, designing and optimizing credit scoring systems and risk-based pricing models tailored to the crypto industry.
2. Manage core risk control parameters such as loan limits and collateral haircuts, and define and optimize loan-to-value (LTV) ratios and liquidation thresholds for various crypto assets.
3. Establish due diligence and credit approval processes for institutional clients and high-net-worth individuals.

Risk and Liquidity Management:

1. Monitor the overall risk exposure of the lending business, performing asset-liability management to ensure sufficient platform liquidity.
2. Analyze concentration risks within the asset portfolio, such as exposure to single assets or counterparties.
3. Develop stress testing and scenario analysis frameworks to evaluate the impact of extreme market conditions on lending operations.

Data Analysis and System Optimization:

1. Conduct in-depth analysis of lending transaction data to identify potential risk points and fraudulent patterns.
2. Collaborate with product and R&D teams to implement risk control strategies and logic into business systems, enabling automated risk management.
3. Generate regular risk reports, presenting business risk status, key metrics, and improvement recommendations to management.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in credit risk or lending risk control, gained in banks, securities firms, consumer finance companies, fintech platforms, or crypto exchanges/lending institutions.
• Solid knowledge of financial risk management, with expertise in credit risk measurement, collateral management, risk-based pricing, and liquidity risk management.
• Strong data processing and analytical skills, with proficiency in SQL and practical experience in data modeling and statistical analysis using Python/R.
• Excellent logical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency market, with familiarity of various lending products and asset characteristics.
• Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
• Hands-on experience in building credit scoring models or risk-based pricing models.
