We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles, be proficient in various design software, and have the ability to manage projects from conception to completion. This role involves collaborating with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet their needs and preferences.

Duties

  • Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for interior spaces.
  • Develop design concepts and present them through sketches, renderings, and mood boards.
  • Utilize software tools such as Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite for design development.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction and renovation projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors throughout the design process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Provide guidance on color theory, lighting design, and material selection.

Skills

  • Proficiency in design software including Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of drafting techniques and interior design principles.
  • Actively working towards NCIDQ Certification and/or architecture certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with contracts related to construction and renovation projects.
  • Understanding of budgeting processes for interior design projects.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Ability to think creatively while adhering to client requirements and constraints.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a closely related field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in interior design.
  • NCIDQ certification (or actively pursuing certification), a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
