Requirements / QualificationsEducation: Graduation from secondary (i.e. high school) school or possession of its equivalent (GED). Possession of a Library Technician Certificate from an accredited 2 or 4 year college is desirable. Document upload required Experience: One (1) year of full-time library experience is required. Experience with elementary and secondary age students is desirable. SPECIAL LICENSE OR LANGUAGE SKILLS: Possession of a Library Technician Certificate is desirable. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Employees must be physically and mentally able to perform the essential duties of a position with or without reasonable accommodation and without hazard to themselves or others. May be required to lift materials up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
