The Aesthetician at Rio Medspa is responsible for delivering high-quality, results-driven skincare treatments within a luxury, patient-centered environment. This includes performing a range of services such as facials, chemical peels, and advanced facial treatments (including but not limited to Hydrafacial), while ensuring each treatment is customized to the individual needs and goals of the patient.
This role requires the ability to assess skin conditions, develop tailored treatment plans, and guide patients through a long-term approach to skin health and overall wellness. In addition to technical expertise, the Aesthetician is responsible for educating patients on proper skincare regimens and product usage to support optimal outcomes.
A strong foundation in skincare techniques, safety protocols, and sanitation practices is essential to maintain a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment. Success in this role also requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with patients while contributing to overall practice growth through service and retail performance.
A current state license is required.

Current state Aesthetician license (required)

35+ years of experience in a medspa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting preferred

Proven ability to deliver both exceptional patient outcomes and a highlevel service experience

Clinical Documentation & Photography

Maintain consistent and timely clinical documentation, including treatment notes and patient interactions

Submit treatment photography in alignment with practice standards (minimum monthly requirements)

Communicate proactively with management if submission timelines cannot be met

Ensure all required sameday documentation (including injectable or advanced treatments, where applicable) is completed accurately

Maintain awareness of inventory levels and communicate any shortages or concerns in a timely manner

Accurately complete all required logs and documentation related to product usage and inventory tracking

Utilize products and supplies in accordance with established protocols to support cost control and consistency

Ensure all consumables are documented appropriately for accurate billing and operational tracking

Support continuity of care while maintaining flexibility to meet the needs of the practice and patients

Communicate proactively regarding scheduling needs, including adjustments to service timing when appropriate

Contribute to overall schedule optimization to maximize efficiency, productivity, and patient access

Submit timeoff requests in advance in accordance with practice policies and support coverage planning when needed
