We are seeking experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) to perform aircraft maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and certification activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures. The successful candidate will ensure aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of safety, airworthiness, and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance data and company procedures.
- Certify maintenance work completed under the privileges of a valid aircraft maintenance licence.
- Carry out troubleshooting, defect rectification, repairs, modifications, and functional testing of aircraft systems.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable aviation authority regulations and company quality standards.
- Review aircraft technical documentation, maintenance manuals, engineering orders, and service bulletins.
- Complete and certify maintenance records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with mechanics, technicians, planners, and other engineering personnel to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to Aircraft Mechanics and Technicians where required.
- Ensure all work is performed safely while adhering to company Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies.
- Support aircraft recovery activities and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations when required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Requirements
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence issued by the relevant Civil Aviation Authority (e.g. HKCAD, CAAS, CAAM, DCA Malaysia, CAAT, CAAV, DGCA Indonesia, etc.).
- Minimum of 2 aircraft type ratings on commercial aircraft (Airbus and/or Boeing).
- Minimum 3–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience in a commercial airline or MRO environment.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, aviation regulations, and safety standards.
- Experience in Base Maintenance, Line Maintenance, or both.
- Ability to interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
Preferred
- Experience working in a Part-145 MRO or commercial airline.
- Experience with wide-body aircraft is an advantage.
- Familiarity with electronic maintenance documentation systems (AMOS, TRAX, SAP, etc.).
- Previous experience supervising maintenance teams.
