Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive mental health and behavioral health services across diverse populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. As an essential member of our team, you will provide individualized assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to promote mental wellness and resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
  • Implement specialized interventions including motivational interviewing, crisis management, addiction counseling, and PTSD care to support diverse patient populations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Alzheimer’s care, geriatrics, and special education needs.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
  • Engage in case management activities such as intake assessments, patient education, data collection for clinical research, and follow-up care planning.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives and home-based care programs to extend support beyond clinical settings.

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, and behavioral health services.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic coding systems including ICD-10/ICD-9/ICD coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient documentation and data collection.
  • Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, and elderly populations requiring Alzheimer’s or geriatrics care.
  • Competence in crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care approaches such as CPT coding and ICD coding standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, mental health assessment tools, and behavioral health best practices.
