<Duties>

  • Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately document patient conditions.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to de-escalate situations effectively and ensure client safety.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and social work techniques tailored to clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, grief, addiction issues, or chronic pain.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate psychopharmacology insights, medical terminology, and HIPAA-compliant medical documentation.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms to extend access to mental health services while maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
  • Engage in clinical research activities when applicable, contributing to data collection efforts that enhance treatment outcomes and support evidence-based practices.

<Skills>

  • Proven expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, geriatrics, or patients in inpatient or outpatient settings.
  • Skilled in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies for diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technology platforms ensuring seamless virtual patient care delivery.
  • Ability to conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and case management with attention to detail in medical records and HIPAA compliance.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health conditions and psychopharmacology principles.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging patients in individual or group counseling sessions while demonstrating cultural sensitivity.

Pay: $72,856.32 - $87,740.95 per year
