Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and professional Licensed Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including hair styling, makeup application, skincare treatments, and retail sales. The Licensed Cosmetologist will be responsible for delivering personalized beauty treatments, managing client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our salon and med spa.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of beauty services including hair styling, coloring, extensions, nail care, makeup application, and skincare treatments such as dermabrasion and dermal fillers.
• Conduct advanced procedures like botulinum toxin treatments, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments.
• Manage client appointments efficiently using salon software such as Millennium and MINDBODY.
• Provide exceptional guest services by understanding client needs and recommending suitable products or treatments.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas in accordance with health regulations.
• Engage in retail sales by promoting product demos and upselling services to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
• Manage social media accounts to promote salon services, special offers, and client success stories.
• Stay current with industry trends in color theory, haircutting techniques, barbering, tattooing, and other cosmetology specialties.
• Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills such as deep tissue massage, straight razor shaving, nail care, and other specialized services offered at the salon or med spa.

Requirements

• Valid state cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of cosmetology practices including hair styling, makeup application, nail care, and skincare treatments.
• Experience with advanced procedures such as dermal fillers, Botox injections (Botulinum toxin), esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and tattooing is preferred.
• Proficiency in salon management software such as Millennium and MINDBODY is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to build lasting client relationships.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Ability to manage social media platforms effectively for marketing purposes.
• Experience in retail sales with a focus on upselling products and services to maximize revenue opportunities.
