Licensed Esthetician

Duties

• Perform a wide range of esthetic services including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, Botox treatments, and laser skin therapies with precision and care.
• Provide personalized consultations to assess client needs and recommend suitable treatments and skincare products.
• Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY, ensuring smooth flow of client sessions.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to strict sanitation protocols for all tools and treatment areas.
• Upsell retail products and promote new treatments through engaging product demos and effective communication skills.
• Handle front desk responsibilities including guest check-in/out, answering inquiries, and managing social media management to promote services and specials.
• Assist with inventory management of skincare products, tools, and equipment to ensure availability for daily operations.
• Stay current on industry trends such as hair extensions, hair styling, nail care, makeup application, tattooing, and esthetic laser treatments to provide expert advice.
• Deliver excellent guest services by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.
• Support team collaboration by participating in training sessions on new techniques like body waxing, straight razor shaving, or med spa procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Esthetician with comprehensive knowledge of cosmetology practices.
• Proven experience in esthetic treatments including facials, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, Botox injections, laser therapy, hair threading, and body waxing.
• Strong management skills with familiarity using salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients about skincare routines and treatment options effectively.
• Knowledge of social media management to help promote services and engage with clients online.
• Demonstrated ability in retail sales through product demos and upselling techniques that enhance revenue.
• Experience with advanced procedures like eyelash extensions, tattooing, esthetic laser treatments, or deep tissue massage is highly desirable.
• Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols in all treatments performed.
