Job Overview

Duties

• Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including facials, body waxing, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, and laser treatments with precision and care.
• Provide advanced services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, hair threading, hair styling, and hair extensions to meet diverse client needs.
• Administer botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers in accordance with safety standards and licensing requirements.
• Manage appointments efficiently using salon software like Millennium or MINDBODY; ensure smooth scheduling and client flow.
• Engage clients through product demos, upselling skincare products, and educating them on treatment options to enhance their experience.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to strict sanitation protocols for all tools and treatment areas.
• Utilize social media management skills to promote services, share client success stories, and grow the salon’s online presence.
• Deliver outstanding guest services by listening attentively to client needs, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction at every visit.
• Support front desk operations by greeting clients warmly, managing check-ins/outs, and assisting with retail sales.
• Stay current on industry trends such as color theory, nail care techniques, tattooing procedures, and the latest esthetic laser innovations to provide cutting-edge treatments.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Esthetician with comprehensive knowledge of cosmetology practices.
• Proven experience in esthetic treatments including facials, body waxing, dermabrasion, laser therapy, eyelash extensions, and dermal fillers.
• Familiarity with salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and client records.
• Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and promote services confidently.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff alike.
• Experience with retail sales techniques and upselling strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Ability to perform specialized treatments such as botulinum toxin injections or tattooing is a plus but not required; training available for qualified candidates.
• Passion for continuous learning about new esthetic techniques like facial rejuvenation or body treatments such as deep tissue massage or hair removal methods.
