Licensed Esthetician

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Greeting guests and suggesting the appropriate therapies and treatments.

- Assist in performing skin assessments to identify problems and the right course of action.

- Provide high-quality facial treatment recommendation and other skin care services that address skincare concerns (i.e. body masks, wraps, sugar and salt scrubs, and compression wraps).

- Introduce potential members to our services and different Membership packages and Educating clients on spa/salon therapies and services offered.

- Explain in detail to potential members what our membership packages include.

- Advise clients and suggest treatments related to their individual needs.

- Perform face and scalp massages for therapeutic or relaxation purposes.

- Perform facial extraction for blackhead removal.

- Maintaining client reports and notes.

- Actively pursuing daily sales goals, including upselling of lotions, creams and other skin care products

In addition, the Skin Care Specialist will demonstrate the use of lotions, oils, masks, creams and ointments. - - Training Manager may also use mechanical and electrical apparatuses and devices to perform procedures. Some of the devices that the Skin Care Specialist use includes:

Microdermabrasion machines

Facial steamers

Galvanic current machines

Rotary brushes

Microcurrent machines

Paraffin heaters

LED Light therapy machines

Vacuum/spray facial machines

Electrotherapy machines

And more as it relates to the treatment that is to be performed within the assigned department.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent

* Either: Aesthetician / Esthetician / Cosmetology License Required

* Proficient in MS Office

* Must have the ability to work weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
