Licensed Florida CPA – Client Accounting Advisor (Contract | Limited Hours)

Overview
Secure Accounting is seeking a Licensed Florida CPA to provide occasional accounting review and professional guidance across client accounts. This role focuses on reviewing financial records, supporting accurate reporting, and providing professional insight on accounting practices.

This is a limited-hours contract role, typically requiring only a few hours per month depending on client needs. It is well suited for an experienced CPA who prefers a flexible advisory engagement rather than a traditional part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements
• Perform detailed account reconciliations including general ledger, bank statements, and subsidiary ledgers such as accounts receivable and payable
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data through double entry bookkeeping practices
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow analysis, and financial forecasting to support client financial management strategies
• Identify inconsistencies or issues within financial records
• Advise on accounting process improvements when needed
• Collaborate with the internal accounting team on client matters
• Assist with occasional accounting or financial review projects

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Florida CPA (Required)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience reviewing financial statements and reconciliations
• QuickBooks experience required
• Experience with Buildium and/or Xero preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Strong communication and professional judgment

This role is ideal for Florida licensed CPAs seeking a part-time position that combines technical expertise with meaningful client engagement. Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per month
