Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties, including structural components, systems, and finishes.
  • Evaluate construction quality and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Review blueprints and schematics to understand the design intent and identify potential issues.
  • Perform quality inspections during various stages of construction to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Collect data on property conditions and prepare detailed inspection reports outlining findings and recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, and contractors regarding inspection results.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, building codes, and best practices in home inspection.

Experience

  • Must hold a valid Home Inspector License for North Carolina
  • Proven experience in construction or related fields is essential.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and quality inspection techniques.
  • Strong analysis skills to assess property conditions accurately.
  • Experience in construction site management or oversight is preferred.
  • Knowledge of contracts related to construction projects is beneficial.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35,887.00 - $75,032.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 – 50 per week
