We are seeking a skilled and licensed HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in system start-ups, troubleshooting, and performing high-quality service on a variety of HVAC equipment. This role also involves working with low-voltage controls, reading schematics, and performing light ductwork tasks. Experience with blueprint reading is required; experience completing full take-off lists is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system start-ups on RTUs, split systems, and VRF systems
- Diagnoses and repair issues within HVAC systems and components
- Run and terminate low-voltage control wiring - Read and interpret wiring schematics and control diagrams
- Assist with basic ductwork tasks as needed - Read and understand blueprints to support installation and service work
- (Optional but preferred) Complete or assist with HVAC take-off lists for materials
- Maintain a high standard of safety, workmanship, and customer service - Document work performed and communicate findings clearly
Qualifications
- Valid HVAC License (state-appropriate)
- 5+ years of HVAC field experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Familiarity with RTUs, split systems, and VRF technology
- Basic understanding of duct systems
- Ability to run low voltage wiring neatly and efficiently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Experience creating or reviewing HVAC take-off lists
Knowledge of advanced controls or BAS systems
