The Role
We're seeking a licensed insurance agent (property and casualty) to work across personal and commercial lines (auto, home, life, umbrella, and business insurance). What You'll Do
- Conduct outside sales activities to identify and attract new clients
- Guide clients through personal and commercial insurance needs
- Listen carefully and analyze client requirements to recommend appropriate solutions
- Negotiate and close insurance policies that meet client needs
- Provide expert advice leveraging our relationships with multiple carriers
- Manage sales administration including documentation, follow-up, and policy management
- Build lasting relationships grounded in trust and follow-through
- Educate clients patiently on policy options and coverage details
- Utilize marketing strategies to promote products and expand our client base
- Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Work both independently and collaboratively to deliver the attentive service that defines our 69-year legacy

Requirements
- Active California insurance license (Property & Casualty required; Life & Health preferred)
- Strong negotiation and analysis skills to assess client needs accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Reliable, professional, and committed to integrity
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse populations effectively
- Experience welcomed but not required – we value character and coachability
