Duties

• Perform professional medical massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific pain points and muscle tension
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals
• Apply advanced techniques such as pain management strategies and occupational health practices to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and treatment plans in compliance with medical and clinic standards
• Educate patients on self-care routines, stretching exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing wellness
• Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and clinic policies
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice legally
• Proven experience in patient service with strong skills in patient assessment and treatment planning
• Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
• Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles
• Prior experience working in a medical setting or wellness clinic is highly desirable
• Prenatal massage experience/certification is highly desirable
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients
• Ability to maintain professionalism while working in a fast-paced environment and adhering to all safety standards
