ABOUT THE PRACTICE
A home for renegade therapists doing soulful work.
Soul Tending Psychotherapy is a small, intentionally growing practice serving adults in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Vermont. The practice is owner-operated with an established full caseload and growing waitlist.
We are depth-oriented, experiential, and integrative — rooted in the belief that therapy is sacred work and that real healing is relational, heart-centered, and goes far deeper than symptom management. We resist the pathologizing of human experience. We trust the wisdom of our clients. We are building a community of therapists committed to bringing therapy back to its roots.
OUR VALUES
- Therapy as Soul Care — Sacred work. We resist pathologizing and systems that flatten what is holy.
- Individual Wholeness — Your intuition, voice, and offerings beyond your license are worth building, not setting aside.
- Depth as a Standard — Healing moves in spirals. We follow the process, not the progress.
- Community over Hierarchy — This is a circle, not a ladder.
- Tending the Tender — Your own journey matters here as much as your clients'.
COMMITMENT TO EQUITY & INCLUSION
Soul Tending Psychotherapy is committed to a practice that is as diverse, inclusive, and equitable as the healing we believe in. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and lived experiences, and actively seek therapists who bring perspectives historically marginalized within mental health systems.
