Position Title: Licensed Therapist

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Therapist to join our team in Denton, Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, with a strong preference for candidates skilled in play therapy. This role involves a blend of in-person and virtual therapy services, focusing on supporting clients' mental health and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual therapy sessions for children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a wide range of mental health needs.
• Utilize evidenced-based techniques to create a safe and effective therapeutic environment.
• Develop and maintain treatment plans, progress notes, and other medical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Engage in continuing education and training to maintain best practices and stay current with new therapeutic approaches.
• Offer support and counseling to clients, empowering them in their personal development and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (required).
• Independent state licensure as a therapist or counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) (preferred).
• Training and experience in play therapy (strongly preferred).
• Experience providing therapy to diverse age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults (preferred).
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages.
• A client-centered approach with empathy, professionalism, and dedication to making a positive impact.

Location:

• Hybrid remote in Denton, TX.
• Candidates must have the ability to commute to Denton, TX or relocate before starting (preferred).
