About Well Beings Counselling

Well Beings Counselling is a modern group therapy practice dedicated to helping people strengthen their mental health, relationships, and overall well-being.

Over the past several years, our team has built a strong reputation for providing thoughtful, client-centered care through a growing network of therapists and clinic locations across Canada. Our practice combines compassionate therapy with systems that make it easier for clients to find the right therapist match.

We are now expanding into the United States and launching our first locations in Florida. We are looking for licensed therapists who want to join us as we build our Florida team.

About the Role

This is an independent contractor position within a supportive group practice.

Well Beings Counselling manages many of the operational aspects of private practice, such as marketing, referral generation, scheduling systems, and administrative support, so therapists can focus on what matters most: helping clients.

Clinicians enjoy the flexibility of private practice while benefiting from consistent referrals and a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families depending on your clinical focus

Conduct brief consultation calls to determine fit and discuss therapy goals

Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing therapeutic support

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes

Provide ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based care

Collaborate with the practice when appropriate to support client care and referrals

Qualifications

Applicants must hold an active Florida license such as:

LMHC – Licensed Mental Health Counselor
LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker
LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Licensure is regulated by the
Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling.

Additional qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or social work
Ability to practice independently in Florida
Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
