Lifting Engineer

Job Overview
Domopan Arabia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lifting Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The Lifting Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient planning, execution, and supervision of all lifting operations. Responsibilities
* Develop and review lift plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments for all lifting operations.
* Supervise lifting activities on site, ensuring adherence to approved lift plans and procedures.
* Inspect and certify lifting equipment, ensuring it is maintained in optimal working condition.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on lifting operations.
* Investigate lifting incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Maintain accurate records of all lifting activities and equipment inspections.
* Collaborate with other engineers and project personnel to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Proven experience as a Lifting Engineer, with a strong track record in planning and executing complex lifting operations.
* Comprehensive knowledge of lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and rigging gear.
* Thorough understanding of relevant safety regulations and standards.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proficient in using relevant software and tools for lift planning and analysis.
