Lifting/Rigging Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rigging Engineer to join our team in Mesaieed. This role involves planning and overseeing rigging operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience with rigging in construction or industrial settings.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in rigging operations.
• Proficient knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Only Freelancer will be accepted.
• Must be locally available in Qatar
• A holder of a valid Qatar ID.
• Can join immediately.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Design and implement rigging plans for various projects.
• Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure all rigging activities are aligned with project timelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure all rigging operations comply with safety regulations.
• Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Provide training and guidance to rigging teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.

• Location: Mesaieed (MIC)
• Duration: Minimum three (3) months, extendable
