Domopan Arabia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lifting Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar . The Lifting Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient planning, execution, and supervision of all lifting operations. This role requires a strong understanding of lifting equipment, relevant regulations, and best practices within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review lift plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for all lifting operations.
• Supervise lifting activities on site, ensuring adherence to approved lift plans and procedures.
• Inspect and certify lifting equipment, ensuring it is maintained in optimal working condition.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on lifting operations.
• Investigate lifting incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate records of all lifting activities and equipment inspections.
• Collaborate with other engineers and project personnel to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Lifting Engineer, with a strong track record in planning and executing complex lifting operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and rigging gear.
• Thorough understanding of relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools for lift planning and analysis.
