Lifting Supervisor

• Supervise all lifting operations on site.
• Ensure lifting activities are performed according to:
• Approved lifting plans
• Method statements
• Risk assessments
• Permit-to-work requirements
• Coordinate with:
• Appointed Person
• Crane operators
• Riggers and signalmen
• Safety officers
• Site engineers
• Verify that cranes and lifting equipment are:
• Certified
• Inspected
• Suitable for the intended lift
• Ensure rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, hooks, and spreader beams are properly selected and inspected before use.
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks.
• Ensure lifting crew members understand the lifting sequence and communication signals.
• Monitor crane setup, outrigger positioning, and ground conditions.
• Ensure exclusion zones and barricades are properly established.
• Stop lifting operations immediately if unsafe conditions arise.
• Ensure weather conditions are suitable for lifting activities.
• Maintain effective communication between crane operators and riggers/signalmen.
• Report incidents, unsafe acts, and near misses to site management.
• Maintain lifting records, permits, and inspection checklists.

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
