Light Vehicle Driver

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Driver Cum Carpenter / Furniture Painter to join our team. This multifaceted role requires a combination of driving skills and carpentry expertise, focusing on delivering high-quality craftsmanship in furniture painting and various carpentry tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and restoration, along with the ability to operate light vehicles safely.

Duties

• Safely operate light vehicles for transporting materials and tools to job sites.
• Execute carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.
• Perform furniture painting with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately execute projects.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
• Engage in construction activities such as concrete forming, plastering, siding, roofing, and flooring installation.
• Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on construction site activities while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as required on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, and construction-related tasks.
• Familiarity with construction estimating and project planning.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to carpentry work.
• Experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, masonry, tile laying, and drywall installation is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration on job sites.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
