Role Overview:

We are seeking dynamic and technically proficient Business Development Managers to drive business growth across assigned states. This role involves acquiring clients through consultative selling, technical consultation, solution design, and order conversion for architectural and industrial lighting projects. You will be well supported by a team of Backend Executives who assist in data research, appointment setting, and backend coordination,allowing you to focus on strategic client engagement and closures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Generation

- Generate Leads through your personal connects

-Visit clients personally based on leads generated by the central CRM team.

-Build strong relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and end customers.

- Convert leads to Sales

2. Requirement Analysis & Solutioning

-Understand client requirements in detail and recommend suitable lighting solutions.

-Provide accurate technical specifications, product options, and design inputs.

3. Design & Proposal

-Prepare and present AutoCAD drawings, 3D layouts, and lighting designs as per project needs.

-Coordinate with design/technical team for customised drawings and BOQ. Address client queries, and drive technical discussions.

4. Sales Conversion

-Conduct presentations, address client queries, and drive technical discussions.

-Ensure conversion of enquiries into confirmed orders once the client finalises the design.

-Negotiate commercial terms within approved company policies.

5.Reporting & Coordination

-Update CRM team and management on client visits, pipeline, and order status.

-Work closely with head-office design, production, and operations teams for smooth execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

-Bachelor's degree (Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering preferred); MBA is a plus -2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in lighting, building materials, electricals, or architectural solutions.

-Hands-on experience in preparing or interpreting AutoCAD layouts and 3D drawings.

-Strong technical aptitude with lighting/electrical products.

-Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

-Ability to manage client relationships independently in the assigned region.

-Willingness to travel within the state
