Lighting Designer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lighting Designer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative lighting solutions for various projects, including facade elevation lighting, interior/exterior layouts, and distribution of light fittings. You will also be involved in programming lights, testing, and commissioning to ensure successful project delivery.

Your expertise in software such as Dialux, Relux, Photoshop, and 3Ds Max will be key in developing visually impressive and functional lighting designs. You will collaborate closely with clients and project teams to deliver designs that align with the envisioned effects and meet required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create lighting layouts, including wiring plans and driver locations, as per project specifications
• Develop and visualize facade elevation lighting solutions using Dialux, Relux, Photoshop, and 3Ds Max
• Program lighting systems to achieve the required effects and performance
• Conduct testing and commissioning to ensure design accuracy and proper functionality
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and provide effective design solutions
• Prepare detailed shop drawings and schematic diagrams for lighting installations
• Monitor on-site installations to ensure correct implementation and desired results
• Ensure proper connectivity and integration of lighting systems
• Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices

Requirements

• Proficiency in Dialux, Relux, Photoshop, and 3Ds Max
• Strong knowledge of lighting design principles and standards
• Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, and installation processes
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Creative problem-solving skills to overcome design challenges
