LIGHTING DESIGNER

Job Position: Lighting Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative and functional lighting designs based on project requirements and BOQs.
• Prepare lighting layouts, lux level calculations, 3D visualizations, and technical submittals.
• Create video renders and visual content using TouchDesigner and related tools.
• Select appropriate lighting fixtures ensuring compliance with design intent, standards, and budgets.
• Prepare detailed lighting schedules, specification sheets, and procurement documents.
• Handle all aspects of LED lighting design — from concept and detailed design to tender and execution.
• Develop concept presentations and reports using PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop, 3ds Max, and Lumion.
• Produce lighting design documentation, including drawings (CAD/Revit), luminaire schedules, and datasheets.
• Conduct lighting studies and simulations using AGi32 or Dialux.
• Perform lighting power density and budget calculations.
• Present technical data and lighting solutions effectively to clients and project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in architectural or commercial lighting design.
• Proficiency in Dialux / Dialux EVO, AutoCAD, Relux, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of lighting control systems and energy-efficient technologies.
• Strong aesthetic sense, creativity, and technical understanding of lighting applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
