Overview:
Performing routine on-line analytical testing to ensure finished beverage products consistently meet quality, food safety, and specification requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Execute routine on-line analytical testing in alignment with the Manufacturing Sampling Plan to ensure compliance with PepsiCo product specifications.
2. Operate and monitor proportioning and mixing systems, ensuring accurate set-up, verification, and documentation of results.
3. Monitor, analyze, and record key quality parameters (Brix, CO₂, Acidity, etc.) and perform real-time adjustments to maintain process capability.
4. Identify deviations, initiate corrective actions, and support root cause analysis to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances.
5. Perform batch and process adjustments when operating conditions fall outside defined control limits.
6. Utilize PepsiCo-approved analytical equipment including Carbo-QC, Densitometer, pH Meter, Refractometer, Torque Tester and related instruments.
7. Ensure accurate logging, trending, and traceability of on-line quality test results.
8. Place non-conforming products and packaging materials on quality hold and support further investigation and disposition.
9. Lead and verify production line sanitation and deep cleaning activities in accordance with Master Sanitation manual and GMP requirements.
10. Ensure microbiological samples are collected in compliance with the Microbiological Sampling Plan and food safety standards.
11. Support achievement of plant quality performance targets, including monthly 3C results and line KPIs.
12. Support P&S program objectives by minimizing ingredient losses and improving process efficiency.
13. Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and promote a safe working environment within the assigned area.
14. Ensure production of safe, legal, and quality products by applying PepsiCo Food Safety and Quality standards.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned by area and quality management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in science or agriculture from an accredited university.
2. 0–2 years of experience in Quality Operations; experience in food or beverage manufacturing is preferred.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure and make timely decisions.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
7. Acceptable written and verbal English communication skills.
8. Basic knowledge of laboratory testing and quality control systems.
9. Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends as required
