Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for various dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and efficient kitchen operations.
• Support meal plating and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes are delivered promptly.
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate orders during busy service times for smooth operations.
• Participate in menu planning discussions and contribute ideas for new dishes or specials.

Experience

• Prior experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly valued, especially with kitchen experience or culinary background.
• Familiarity with dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus, demonstrating awareness of special dietary needs.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are essential for efficiency and safety.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures is required.
• Experience in catering or large-scale food service can be advantageous for managing diverse service demands.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
