As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting in meal preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position is essential for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
• Assist in meal preparation by cooking, baking, or assembling dishes as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food products.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, mixers, and ovens safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of shortages.

Skills

• Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to use kitchen tools and equipment effectively, particularly knives.
• Experience working in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment is preferred.
