Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision, maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. Your energy and culinary skills will help deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
• Assist with meal plating, portioning, and presentation to meet aesthetic standards
• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service
• Follow safety standards in production, including proper food handling and storage procedures
• Support catering events or special functions as needed with food preparation and setup

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus
• Strong knife skills, slicing techniques, and familiarity with food preparation methods are essential
• Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation enhances your fit for this role
• Understanding of food safety management protocols and safety standards in production is required
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff are vital
• Prior culinary or kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in cooking techniques is advantageous
• Sauté and Expediting knowledge

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
