Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, portioning, and food assembly to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and handling protocols.
• Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient selection and dish execution.
• Help with food plating and garnishing to ensure visually appealing presentations.
• Follow all health regulations and safety procedures to create a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Collaborate with team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.

Skills

• Previous experience in restaurant or culinary settings is highly desirable, especially in fine dining or catering environments.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
• Experience with menu planning, meal prep, and food industry best practices.
